Permanent makeup at KV Beauty Med Spa in Algonquin is designed to enhance your natural features, save you time, and keep your look fresh from morning to night.
Choosing permanent makeup shouldn’t feel confusing. We keep it simple: we listen to your goals, recommend the right technique for your skin type and lifestyle, and help you understand how the process works, what healing may look like, and how touch-ups fit into your long-term result.
Our studio is designed to feel comfortable, private, and welcoming. From clean standards to clear communication, you’ll always know what you’re booking, what’s included, and what your next step should be — whether you’re starting fresh or correcting previous work.
Choose the service that matches your goals — from soft, powdery brows and defined lips to permanent eyeliner, pigment correction and removal.
Powder brows create a soft, shaded effect that looks like perfectly filled-in brows rather than harsh lines. Instead of using pencil or powder every morning, you get a clean shape and even color that doesn’t smudge throughout the day.
This technique is ideal if you have sparse hairs, light brow color, or small asymmetries. We customize both shape and pigment to match your skin tone and hair color, so the result looks natural and balanced with your facial features.
Combo brows combine soft powder shading with more defined strokes to create fuller-looking brows with both dimension and structure. The result is bolder than classic powder brows, but still wearable and natural in everyday life.
This option is perfect if you want your brows to stand out a bit more, while still avoiding a “blocky” tattoo look. Combo brows work especially well for clients with normal or combination skin who prefer a slightly stronger brow style.
Nano brows use ultra-fine machine strokes to mimic natural hair growth with high precision. The technique creates airy, realistic brows with detailed hair-like lines and gentle color transitions.
It’s ideal if you want the “my brows but better” effect, especially when you have gaps, uneven growth, or over-plucked areas. Nano brows are best suited for normal to dry skin when you value subtle detail and a very natural finish.
Permanent Lip Blush gently evens out lip tone, adds soft color, and refines the border without looking like heavy lipstick. Your lips appear fresher, more defined, and slightly fuller while still feeling like your own.
This treatment is a great choice if your lips are naturally pale, uneven in color, or your lip line has softened over time. Lip Blush saves you time on daily makeup and helps you feel put-together even with just gloss or balm.
Permanent eyeliner enhances your lash line and makes your eyes look more open and defined every day — without smudged pencil or liner. You can choose a very thin, subtle enhancement or a more visible line depending on your style.
It’s especially helpful if you have sensitive eyes, allergies to makeup, or simply don’t want to draw eyeliner daily. The treatment visually thickens the lash line and makes your eyes appear brighter, even without any other makeup.
Lip Neutralization is designed to gently correct dark, cool, or uneven lip tones by layering specific pigments that warm and balance the color. It helps soften bluish, purplish, or brownish undertones and create a more harmonious base.
This service is especially beneficial for clients with naturally pigmented or darker lips who want a more even, healthy-looking tone. Neutralization is often the first step before Lip Blush to achieve clean, predictable results and a beautiful final shade.
Eyebrow Color Correction helps fix old or unwanted permanent makeup that has turned gray, blue, red, or overly dark. Using color theory and corrective pigments, we neutralize the undesired tone and prepare your brows for a more natural-looking refresh.
This treatment is a good choice if you’re unhappy with previous work or your brows have changed color over the years. The goal is to soften and rebalance the color so your brows better match your complexion and future design.
Laser Tattoo Removal is an effective way to lighten or fully remove old permanent makeup or small body tattoos. The laser targets pigment particles and breaks them down so your body can gradually clear them away.
It’s ideal if your old PMU is too dark, misshaped, or you’d like to completely start over. Several sessions are usually needed, and we customize your removal plan based on pigment color, saturation, and how long ago it was applied.
Saline Tattoo Removal uses a special saline solution that gently lifts pigment out of the skin’s upper layers. It’s a more delicate option for lightening or partially removing permanent makeup, especially in sensitive areas.
This method is helpful if you want to reduce intensity, fix smaller areas, or prepare the skin for a new PMU design. Saline removal is often chosen for fresh or localized corrections where laser might not be the preferred approach.

Permanent makeup (also called cosmetic tattooing or PMU) uses gentle, semi-permanent pigments to enhance your brows, eyes, and lips. Unlike traditional tattoos, PMU is designed to fade gradually over time, allowing for adjustments as your features and preferences change.
It’s ideal if you’re tired of drawing your brows every morning, want your eyeliner to stay put, or wish your lips looked more defined and even in color. Our approach focuses on soft, natural-looking results that work in real life — not just on social media.
From consultation to healed results, we keep the process clear, comfortable, and fully guided.
We combine advanced techniques with a soft, natural aesthetic so your permanent makeup looks great both on camera and in everyday life.
Your permanent makeup treatment is performed by a certified, detail-oriented artist who specializes in natural-looking brows, lips, and eyeliner. Before we start, we carefully map your features, discuss your goals, and choose pigments based on your skin tone, undertone, and personal style.
You’re never rushed through the process. We take time to explain each step, show you shape previews, and answer questions so you feel confident and informed. Our goal is for you to leave the studio feeling like the best version of yourself — not like a different person.

Most initial PMU sessions (brows, eyeliner, lips) take about 2–3 hours. This includes consultation, mapping, numbing, and the procedure itself. Touch-up visits are usually shorter — about 60–90 minutes.
We use high-quality topical numbing to keep you comfortable. Most clients describe the feeling as light scratching or pressure rather than true pain. Sensitivity varies by area and individual, but our goal is to make the experience as easy as possible.
Results typically last 1–3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and how your body metabolizes pigment. Brows tend to fade a bit faster than eyeliner; lips may require periodic refreshers to keep the color vibrant.
Yes, your brows, liner, or lips usually look darker and more intense for the first few days. As the skin heals and the top layer flakes, the color softens by 20–40%, revealing a more natural shade underneath.
Expect mild redness or swelling for the first 1–2 days, followed by light flaking over 5–7 days. It’s important not to pick or scratch the area. Full color settles in around 4–6 weeks, which is why touch-ups are scheduled after that point.
Many clients feel comfortable skipping daily brow pencil, liner, or lipstick. You can still wear regular makeup on top if you want a more dramatic look for events; just avoid heavy products directly on healing areas until they are fully recovered.
PMU is great if you want to save time, have difficulty applying makeup, or have hair loss or asymmetry in brows, eyes, or lips. During consultation we review your medical history and skin condition to make sure the treatment is safe and appropriate for you.
In many cases, yes. We offer both color correction and removal options (laser and saline) for old or unwanted PMU. Sometimes we need to lighten the old work before creating a new design — this is discussed during consultation.
Most clients return for a perfecting touch-up 6–8 weeks after the initial session. This allows us to adjust color, shape, and density once the skin has fully healed. Maintenance refreshers are usually recommended every 12–18 months.
Yes, we work with platforms like Klarna, Afterpay, or Affirm so you can split your total into smaller payments. You can set this up during online booking or at checkout, depending on the provider’s options.
